Black & White - Runa Boger

Textile artist Runa Boger is exhibiting at SOFT galleri. This exhibition is the most abstract of the three recommendations of this week. Boger experiments with the characteristics of textile to create simple compositions. For this exhibition, she created small geometrical collages, Variables, with stripes of wool. Similar compositions are reproduced, each time with small changes, showing how small alterations can have large effects.

Conspirators - Espen Kvålsvoll

Bright colors, playful compositions and striking patterns. This is all visible in Espen Kvålsvoll’s work and he is now exhibiting at Galleri Brandstrup. His paintings take objects out of context and reconfigure them into complete new compositions, forcing you to take a second look. Loud artworks with enough to explore, definitely worth checking out!

The space around the chair - Morten Andenæs

Dark, dreamy and mysterious images characterize this exhibition of Morten Andenaes. He photographs everyday objects and scenes, playing with light and shadow, in order to say “something about death from the vantage point of middle-age, and how photography as process and practice mirrors all this.” - Morten Andenæs.
